How many mL is X units of insulin?

Because 1 unit is 0.01 mL on a U-100 syringe, you convert units to millilitres by dividing by 100 (or multiplying by 0.01). The common values people look up:

  • How many mL is 5 units of insulin? 5 units = 0.05 mL.
