Every calculator here is transparent. These are the equations we use and the assumptions behind them.

Reconstitution

Concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mg × 1000 ÷ water mL. Volume to inject (mL) = dose mcg ÷ concentration. Syringe units = volume mL × units-per-mL (100 for U-100). No rounding is applied before the final display.

Unit conversion

All mass conversions use fixed SI ratios (1 mg = 1000 mcg = 1,000,000 ng). IU is a measure of biological activity, not mass — we only estimate IU when you supply a substance-specific mg-per-IU factor, because no universal conversion exists.

Half-life decay

Remaining = amount × 0.5^(time ÷ half-life). This is a single-compartment exponential model. It ignores absorption and multi-phase elimination and is intended for education, not clinical prediction.

Accuracy commitment

These are deterministic arithmetic tools — the math is exact for the inputs given. What they cannot know is the accuracy of your inputs or the real-world behaviour of a compound in a body. That is why every tool is framed as a converter, never a dosing recommendation.
